Adventure Science Canadian Arctic Franklin Expedition

Info: With the recent underwater discoveries of Sir John Franklin’s two vessels, the Erebus and Terror, the mystery of what happened to Franklin and his team may be finally coming to a close. A team of 6 athlete-adventurers will embark to King William Island in the Canadian Arctic to retrace the supposed route of Captain Sir John Franklin’s doomed crew, to gain a better understanding of what it would have been like to have lived and travelled through this region without the ancient knowledge of the Inuit, in tribute to the men who died here. The 100-mile trek will be a continuous exploration of the coastline. This desolate, and water-logged landscape will test this core team of experienced athletes and adventurers.
